Why quinces are different

Seating a quinceañera isn’t like seating any other party

Big families, a court of honor and guests of every generation. Seatella is built for exactly that.

The court of honor sits together

Give the quinceañera, her damas and chambelanes their own head table, close to the dance floor for the waltz and the surprise dance.

Families come as groups

Add “Garcia Family, party of 6” as one entry. Seatella keeps each family together and counts seats by people, not names.

Grandparents read Spanish

The guest page opens in each guest’s phone language, with English and Spanish (and more) one tap away.

RSVPs change until the last day

Move a tía to another table the morning of the party. The page updates instantly and the printed QR code never changes.

How it works

Seating tips

Quinceañera seating tips from the floor plan up

A few simple rules that make the night flow, whatever the size of your salón.

  1. 1

Put the mesa de honor where everyone can see it

Center it facing the room, with the dance floor in front. The quinceañera is the focus of the night, and guests should see her from every table.

  2. 2

Seat parents and padrinos close by

Parents, godparents and the padrinos who sponsored the cake, the last doll or the tiara usually sit at the tables nearest the head table.

  3. 3

Keep grandparents away from the speakers

Older guests enjoy the party more a little farther from the DJ, with an easy path to the entrance and restrooms.

  4. 4

Give the kids their own table, near their parents

Young cousins are happier together, and parents can keep an eye on them from the next table.

  5. 5

    Seat friends from school together

Her friends will spend the night on the dance floor. Seating them close to it keeps the energy up.

  6. 6

Plan for the people who say yes late

Leave a couple of seats open at a few tables. With a digital seating chart, adding a late guest takes seconds.

FAQ

Quinceañera seating chart questions

How do I make a seating chart for a quinceañera?

Start with your venue’s floor plan and place the mesa de honor first. Then seat parents and padrinos nearby, group each family at its own table, and give the kids and her friends tables near the dance floor. Seatella lets you do all of this online and share it with one QR code.

Who sits at the head table at a quinceañera?

Usually the quinceañera and her court of honor: her damas and chambelanes. Some families also seat the parents or the escort at the head table, while others give parents and padrinos the table right next to it.

Can guests see the seating chart in Spanish?

Yes. The guest page opens in the language of each guest’s phone and includes English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian and Haitian Creole. Guests can switch with one tap.

Can I import my guest list from Excel?

Yes. Upload your Excel or CSV list, even one with RSVP and party-size columns. Seatella keeps each family together and leaves out guests who declined.

How much does a quinceañera seating chart cost?

You can build your floor plan, guest list and seating for free. When you’re ready to share it, a one-time Event Pass is $39 for unlimited guests, with no subscription.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. Guests scan the QR code with their phone camera and the page opens in the browser. No app, no account.
