Terms of Service
Last updated: September 29, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Seatella for using seatella.com, the Seatella dashboard and guest pages (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.
1. The Service
Seatella lets organizers design floor plans, manage guest lists, assign tables and publish a guest page with a QR code so guests can find their seat. Guests can use guest pages without an account.
Some features are in early access and may change. We’ll try to give notice of significant changes.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. Keep your password secure; you’re responsible for activity under your account.
If you invite team members (when available), you’re responsible for their use of your account.
3. Your content and guest data
You own the content you add, including event details, floor plans, logos and guest lists. You give us permission to host, process and display it only as needed to provide the Service (for example, showing a guest their table).
You confirm you have the right to use the information you upload, including guests’ names, and that it complies with applicable law. Don’t upload sensitive information that isn’t needed to seat guests.
4. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the Service: no unlawful, harassing or infringing content; no attempts to access other users’ data, overload our systems, or bypass security or plan limits; no reselling the Service without our written permission.
We may suspend content or accounts that violate these terms or put others at risk.
5. Plans, payments and Event Passes
Seatella offers a free plan, one-time Event Passes and paid subscriptions. Prices and plan limits are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice before your next billing period.
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Event Passes are one-time purchases for a single event.
Payments are processed by our payment provider. If something went wrong with a charge, email hello@seatella.com within 30 days and we’ll make it right.
6. Availability at your event
We work hard to keep guest pages fast and available, but the Service depends on internet connectivity and third-party providers. We recommend keeping a simple backup (such as a printed list at the entrance) for important events.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seatella won’t be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $100 if you haven’t paid anything).
9. Ending your use
You can stop using Seatella and delete your events at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, you can request an export of your data within 30 days.
10. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms. If changes are material, we’ll notify organizers in advance by email or in the dashboard. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
